Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi I am looking at buying a Nissan 2002 Gu III 4.8 L 5 speed manual. I have only taken this one for a test drive (as in Tassie there are very few for sale) and would like to know if when in 3 rd gear the gear lever has a reasonable amount of vibration coming through it as this one did. Even if you hold the gear lever you can still feel the vibrations coming from the gearbox. It changed gears perfectly, no sign of any synchro wear in any of the gears, it changed nice and smoothly and no whines or noises in any of the gears, just a shudder through the gear lever in 3rd gear.
It has only 60,000 on it with all service history.

Don't think many here have manual 4.8's. Probably more than a few auto's about however.

fellow from work has one. it feels exactly like my gq's box.

also if you hold the gear stick "in gear"in most cars you will feel a shudder
