URGENT HELP NEEDED! removing turbo

I'm in the process of fitting a pyrometer to my 01 TD42T patrol and am stuck.
the pyro will be going in the exhaust manifold but i need to remove the turbo to stop the swarf from going through it. however, the 4 bolts holding the turbo to the manifold are EXTREMELY tight ( i cant even get to all of them) and i cant get to all the manifold bolts on the bottom side.
how do i carry out this task? i'm completely stuffed. what has everyone else done?

dont bother....at the risk of beeing shouted down...drill hole with magnetised drill bit..very carefully..it does work..

Any reason for fitting it in exhaust manifold? Should be fitted in dump pipe about 50mm back from turbine wheel. Coat drill bit with grease to stop swarf entering exhaust.

its a more accurate reading pre turbo.
i have decided against it though. way too much stuffing around for 1 little fitting. worked out today that i have the standard restrictive dump pipe so will be upgrading to a free flow one, will tap and fit the pyro there.
best prices/places for dump pipes in south east qld?

A lot of aftermarket dump pipes have Pyro ports, try MTQ(DTS) theirs does.

this may help..
just out it in the dump pipe if you dont habe access to the right tools. or take it to someone who does. pre turbo is more accurate but the dump pipe is still suitable
