GQ RADIUS ARM BUSHS - WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?

Hello all,

The radius arm bushes in my 89' maverick have finally died. I need to know my options regarding new ones. I'm running 2 inch lift. The options that I am aware of are:
1. Nissan genuine (rubber)
2. Aftermarket (neoprene)
3. Rose joints

I would like to know if the neoprene bushes flex as well as the rubber and if anybody has fitted rose joints I would like to hear their opinion as well.

cheers Ian :)

Genuine! Unless you want a castor correction set. Tough dog set are good but all caster stye will fail quicker due to the material offset in the bush, more compression on one side than the other.

Stick with genuine and get the GU bushes not the GQs.

The GQ bushes are solid rubber all round but the GU ones have little holes in them which give a touch extra flex.

Cheers Mick.

gu do flex better and ride better but rip through the slots if used in high flex applications, Ive gone back to solid bushes for longevity

i bought a set of slotted bushes from Haultech, they work really well and provide better flex than the standard bushes.

How much were these? Any way to buy these other than directly from Haultech? I've tried on and off for the last year to try to get some, but they never reply.
