where dose your bolt up?

i wanting to know where the negative lead bolts to one end to batry but where dose the other end go??? i ripped it all appart to replace a few things in the motor nows it been so long i forget where it gose

Mine on my 89 diesel SWB had the earth lead go from the neg terminal on the batt. To the body. Bolted just below the batt tray. Would have been below the front half of the batt.
There it has the other lead going to the mount on the head or was it rocker cover. Cant remember now.
I would recommand giving all surfaces a good clean though. I got some oil between the mounting surfaces and mine would start at all. Could tow start but putting high elec load on would turn the car off.
