You shouldnt have a problem towing that.

i dont have the power figures at home, there at work but if no one gets them up by the morning i'll put them up.

A mate has one and tows his 2T bobcat with one and reakons it tow better than his missus 2.8L patrol.

i use one all the time ;)

we tow 2.5-3 ton plus a good ton on the back of the ute. not a problem :) a boat is easy, you won't even notice its there.

the downsides.. rear springs are crap and will need fixing. we had an extra leaf fitted. the EGR sometimes plays up however you can fix that ;)
only thing replaced has been the TPS, not uncomman on any vechile. one thing that can be a pain is the neutral switch on the gearbox, it can play up and cause low power.

towing fiqures and power etc see local nissan website as rules, tow rating and power can vary from country to country.

Yeah I have a ZD30 Str. I bought mine new and have done 55k now. Not one problem to speak of. Use it to tow my sierra, tinnie and v8 ski boat. No drama's with it what so ever. The ski boat I tow out over the ranges and is probably about 1700kg. Easy to drive and great economy.
