You could send them to longfield and have them treat them for 45 us$ and thats not including postage so it will add up but i'm sure someone in AUS should be able to do it. Someone on here must know of someone that does it

Does any one know if it's worth doing?
Or hasn't anyone sent a gear set to get hardened.

They also cryo treat them (whatever that means) aparently it makes them more resitant to cracking and chipping.

Have got treated gears from bobby cant fault them the only thing to remember is that for the front you can get the treated and cryod gear but he only heat treats the rear 1s if they are a road driven diff,
If its a buggy or trailer rig then you can use the treated and cryoed.
He used to sell them but now you have to get 1s sent to him for treating but im sure if you asked he will get a set in for you new and treat them.
He likes to use the yukon brand.

Is it worth doing or would it be a waste of time.
What is the cost in getting this done?
