hilux clutch

i dnt own one i am wise have a nissan, but work at a tojo dealer, has anyone had any probs with slipping clutches in the new shape hilux with the 3ltre turb diesel, we had a brand new one, 1700 km old with a fried clutch and a couple more with bad smells, in low range under load.
