hi guys
Quick question
What is the operating temp in degrees and also on the water temp gauge ?
I filled my visious hub up with silcon oil and now the car doesn't warm up and stays cold gets to about 65 degrees on a speco gauge.( gauge might not be spot on though)
Thanks alot
Rick.

You can fill up the diesel ones.
Petrol can be filled by tapping a small hole and tapping a thread for a bolt.
Mulisah.. if its the fan.. I found that it works muhc better not filling it full..
My fan kicks in jut at the right temperature and cools the car down fast, its jut a matter of trial and error by taking out a bit of fluid at a time.

Yeah i took some out and by the factory gauge sits about 2 needle widths on cold mark and my speco gauge said 60 degrees..
Thanks

Has it still got the thermostat in there. As I would have thought that if it was closed. No water would be able to flow thru the radiator. So dosent really matter how cool the fan gets the water in the radiator, if it dosent cycle.
