wondered if any1 could tell me where i could get a set of lifters for a TJ wrangler. tried poly 4x4, repco, bursons.

If Poly can't help you out, may have to go genuine. Try USA4X4 first tho - may have some ideas.
What about direct from the US?

X2 for USA4x4 if they don't have them would be able to get them or no where to get them from!

What ever you do dont use second hand ones. You'll be doing them again before you know it.
I'm assuming that your engine is a bit ticky, hopefully just lifters will fix it. Even then it only a medium term fix. For your lifters to have started to become noisy it means that your camshaft will be well worn also. Check the lobes for wear if you can before you do the lifters. You may need a camshaft as well.
Although it ends up being more expensive to do the cam as well, it'll be better in the long run if your planning on keeping your Jeep. I know this from personal experience over the years and wasting several weekends re-doing cam and lifters in friends motors when the first quick fix didnt quite work.
