Hey
First off this is being posted for a mate so excuse me if i have no idea...
He has a sierra with a GTI engine. He is looking fo a fuel tank that will fit thats got a built in fuel pump.
Minimal work in fitting is a MUST!
Maybe something from a Vit or something???
What fits?!?!
Any info would be great.
Cheers Justin

you could allways go coil sierra tankas they have a swirl pot and run a vl pump or use an in tank pump and stainless hose clamp it to the pick up line

Coil sierra tank with a vitara pick up in it.
Coil sierra tanks were designed for EFI and the pick up has the same bolt pattern as a vitara EFI pickup. Coil tanks bolt into a leaf sierra.
The vitara pick up has a swimmer pump in it. A vitara fuel pump will flow enough fuel for a GTI engine.
You can't get easier than that.
HOWEVER - coil tanks are hard to find and vitara tanks are expensive.... but if you ask advice on what's easy to fit...we will deliver.
A vitara tank can be made to fit but it is a fair amount of work. exhaust, shock mounts, filler piping are all issues.

How is it mounted ... cause it is not that noisy on a VL

Aparrently the trick is to mount them on VL commodore airbox mounts - these are teeny weeny rubber isolation mounts.
