Manual hub conversion- a how to with PICS

Well after going through the tech bible articles and reading all the good points to having manual hubs, i got round to it today and decided a step by step guide would help people(like me when i started to look) to see how easy this conversion is.
A car manual also helps in the whole scheme of how things go back together
-First of all buy some manual hubs, ASIN are the best(strongest) of the easy to by ones, the AVM brand that arb sell are no good, as they just dont have the strenght that the ASIN ones have, Give your newly brought hubs a bit of a clean(if needed) and see if they work fine.
Heres a pic of the bits of the hub
i payed $150 for a pair of hubs at- ''just mitisy's''on the Gold Coast
STEP ONE(Beer is optional )
-----------------------------------
take the cover off your auto hub covers using multigrips or the like,Heres a pic of what is looks like
STEP TWO
--------------------------------
take the snap ring(circlip)off the shaft, then take the 6 allen key (8mm)off and with a bit of wriggling the hub should come off, there MAY be a spacer behind the snap ring if so keep this and see if it is needed when the hubs go back on
heres a pic of the snap ring
STEP THREE
-------------------------------
give the left over surface on the car a clean so the gasket goo will stick proberlyand make sure the other mating surface on the manual hub is clean as well- i inverted the colours on this pic so you could see where the snap ring goes
STEP FOUR
-----------------------------
jiffle the bottom part of the hub over the shaft- you may need some one else to hold the axel on the other side of the wheel as it may move back when you push it on, Then wack on the aleen key bolts and the snap ring and spacer if required
STEP FIVE
---------------------------
Put in some high temprature wheel bearing grease- but not to much
STEP SIX
----------------------------
now turn the bit you see to FREE- and turn the cam follower all the way up the ramp
STEP SEVEN
----------------------------
Now put the top part onto the hub- with a gasket, and tighten down
YOU NOW HAVE A MANUAL HUB
