Fish oil

Just bought a ute and the previous owner has covered the engine bay in spray on fish oil, while it has preserved the bay is there any easy way to get it off easily. Degreaser didnt work... Hope someone can help, Cheers

Whats the problem does it smell. If not leave it there.
otherwise a rag and some elbow grease may be an option.

Try Sard wonder soap laundry precleaner spray and a bit of water with a brush.

Just remember that soaps are full of salt and shit that like to make things rust. I'd be leaving it there unless you want it to be a show car or something.

Looks like its staying there, thanks for the advice, Its worked extremely well. Penetrene and a scotch brite did the trick though it can stay there. Cheers

I had a mate had the same drama. He said that a Gernie that has a high temperature setting (almost 100 degrees) works, go high pressure too.
