i was just wodering what coolant hoses etc... are behind the plenum chamber, i havnt pulled it apart yet, was wondering why im getting a huge leak, could a hose have broken behind there? is it easy to do?
the leak is pooling in the valley gasket i think, but only behind the plenum chamber, thats only looking with a torch thus far, any help?

if it is the heater hoses how hard is it to get to? do i need to pull off more than the plenum chamber?

it is pretty easy to get to I didn't need to take the top off - if you remove the plenium you will need to take the throttle cable and kick down off - which is easy enough.

I would have said heater hoses, but one thought, just because it's pooling at the back doesn't mean that's where it's leaking.
I sometimes get a box of tissues and poke a dry tissue into various places I can't see into, and see where it comes out wet.
Yes, I know that sounds dodgy

yeah i had that on my car once i put the engine back together, and i thought it was coming from the heater hoses, as it was pooling in the back on the valley cover, but it ended up being from the back of the water pump, tightened all the hose clamps up around there, and no problems anymore
