Hey guys and gals. Im looking at putting a 5 inch lift in my 100 series. I was wondering who has done it and what you think of it? has it caused any problems? e.g. with the front drive shaft angle etc?

Yep, run a 5 inch lift in a 100. Castor plates are a must or else look at a set of arms. Go arms if you are looking for good flex without limits. Works well in mine. You could think about cutting the mounts and re welding....depend on how deep you pockets are. Depending on how you want it to handle I'd also think about a high steer. They are OK without it but have a fair bit of bump steer and chew through pan hard bushes. Spend some money on decent shocks and springs if you are going to abuse it, el cheapos wont last long with the weight.
Have fun.

At least caster plates, extended brake lines, adjustable panhards.
I've got some brand new (never driven on, rears went in for 10 minutes) Tough Dog 5" and 6" springs (pair of each) if you want them cheap.
They were too high on my FZJ105 for the missus to even get in, so they came out. :(
