I'm hoping some1 else has had this same problem-:
The remote locks the doors perfectly however when it unlocks it seems to only move the interior lock switches half way and is not unlocked at all.
None of the doors r unlocked.
It does work fine with the key tho.

Anybody had similar probs ?
Any suggestions?

A little story :)

A chick drives to the shops and gets all the stuff out of the car to goto the shops, she's got everything and locks the doors.

The 1 important thing she did forget was the baby in the back seat sleeping, so she tries to open the doors but can't get the doors to open and can't figure out what to do, and then calls RACQ and the rush out to the woman.

The guy tells her to try opening the doors so she tries again and tells him they won't open.

Then the guy grabs her keys and uses the keys to unlock the car and tells her to get some new batteries for the remote. :D

maybe the remote needs some new batteries?

Sorry if this doesn't help but prefect time for the story though :) that was on nine msn.

haven't changed batteries yet....
I didn't do this yet because i thought if it locks it fine then it should unlock fine.

I'll give it a go and let you know.

Thank you :D

I woundn't think that it is a mech issue as it would be strange for all 5 doors to play up at once. Sounds like a voltage drop to the solinoids?

If it's a voltage drop what do i need to do?

Does this mean i need a new battery?
