Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Does anybody know if there is any way to differentiate between a 4.2 n/a diesel and a 4.2 TD by the numbers on the VIN plate on a 99 partol tray??

All GU's with a TD42 are factory turbo arent they? Non turbo 4.2 diesels are TD42's as well.
