For some reason I've never come across this terminology before... what size is 2B&S or 3B&S cable in mm2?

Most of the wire I buy is marked B&S, it’s only the auto cable that isn’t, that’s 2mm auto to 6mm auto but nearly all the heavy cable I source from the different wholesalers is marked B&S.
The only two heavy cable sizes I buy that is not a B&S size is 10mm2 and 16mm2.
Cheers

Nope, didn't buy it. Just saw it and wondered. It's weird that I hadn't noticed that terminology before, but there you go.

Guys I manage a major Auto Elec supplier and we size our cable by B&S first then mm2 then amp rating.
If you want the cross referance I can get it all for you or go to
www.ashdown.com.au
i think it is there
