Have a search for a thread by viclore about his engine mounts. There was some talk of otehr suitable mounts, I belive that 318ci v8 valiant motor mounts might fit.

Just go SOLID.

Remove the rubber and weld-in some plate.

You feel the vibes, but you don't get any movement of the engine.

I used to do it for demo derbys at Liverpool and PCR.

Sounds rather average to me...

Try some Hilux LN65 (the 2.4 litre 2L engine model). I know you can fit these, gave one to someone to do it. BTW I'm assuming Sierra, if its a Vitara i don't really know.

Why don't you just use GTI engine mounts? If there aren't any fitting issues from differences in engine bays then surely these would be the logical swap?

GTi is a transverse mount, the mounts are different from memory.
