How to adjust swivel hub bearings, MQ

hey guys
i think my swivel hub bearings are loose just wondering how to tighten them?? i see that they have shims in there should i take some out or is there another way??
just trying to find a front end shake!

they dont just become loose. id say the swivel hubs are full of mud and have collapsed a bearing. depends how much movement there is!
put a swivel kit through ya diff and then worry about ya shims when everything is clean and ready for reassembly.

yeah you need to put a swivel kit in mate and take note which shims goes where.

JAck your mq up take the front wheel off and steering drag link thingy so the front hub can move freely inderpendant to the other front wheel. If the hub on it's own sits in the straight ahead postion with out falling over the pre load is correct if it does fall you need to take shims out. That how i was told by a guy at Nissan Real Technical hey. What ever you do to the top you do to the bottom.
But if you Have the shakes like i did, those scary as F*$K shakes put new bearings in at least you know it's done, only speaking from experience, but do as you wish.
