Body lift HELP

Hi Everyone,
I have a 94 hilux with 2 inch suspension lift and what a 2 inch body lift to fit 33 muddys under it. Does anyone know how much to get it done and who does it in brisbane?
My brake lines have already been extended 1 inch all round.

All help is greatly appreciated.

I put one in myself yesterday. Mines only a single cab but it still took almost 2hrs.
Had a few little probs, theres a lip on the bottom of the radiator that kept getting caught up. And my steering shaft had to be loosened off abit. and mod the rubber boots arount the gear shifter.
Its the 2nd one ive ever done. I think is better doing stuff yourself if u can, learn more that way.

Try these sites. I know they're not specificially for a HiLux, but it will give you a guide to what's involved. It's not a 'hard' thing to install, but I wouldn't try it without being reasonably confident in your skills. I think the hardest part is lifting the body off the chassis high enough to fit the blocks in.

In my experience, every bodylift is slightly different (normalled dependant on how original the owner wants it to look and how much work they're prepared to put in) and you could have more/less problems, but this should help you decide if you should tackle it yourself or call in the pro's.

just do a quick search there is so much information on the site...it piss unbolt the original bolts 3 on each side and two up front, take one side off fully but just loosin other side so it doesn;t slide,..jack up car take out old replace wit new blocks and bolts, then move around car doin it..mine was 93 and didn;t change fuel or fan...a week later make sure bolts are still tight...

i brought my body lift from arb for 150 2 inch lift put it in myself wasent to hard..

Thanks alot guys probably just go to superior engineering, but probably end up doing it myself.

it is easy to do yourself, all you need is 50mm round bar machining aluminium, access to any drill press, some high tensile bolts, washers and lock nuts and a couple of jacks. mine took about a day and i did it by myself. cost me about 100 bucks i think. Theres a place near moss street (parramatta street) thats does the machining aluminium, i think the place starts with a 'C' someone on the forum should know it.

Hey guys, while we are on the topic i also got 1 inch at the moment and need more to allow flex with 33's, do i need a steering shaft extension or just loosen it off?? Cheers

If you can machine the blocks up your self a lift will cost you $50 including material and grade 8 bolts.

To easy to lift a hlux 2". By yourself a few hours with a mate 1.5 hours easy.

Mine did run with it lossen'd off lifted then do it back up and it's right on the limit of the flat spot from factory,mates is also done like this and has been fine for the last 6months+ when i got my ute it hadn't been done put a bit too much force on it when it was on it's side while being pulled back over snap it pulled the shaft apart in where the tilt is so loosen them lift it then run it as it is or get a extension also been told a 2wd non Powersteer lux steering shaft is 2in longer so maybe pay the wreckers a visit

oh righto, so dont worry bout the extension straight up ey. Ill just do it wen i get the gino's to do it. Went to get my ranchos, well was gonna on the weekend then my mate told me my 2nd tool box is ready for the back so i gottah wait another 2 weeks!! :bad-words: oh well work b4 play i guess..

when i put the lift on would i need to extend the snorkel pipe Just thinking about it today.

No because your airbox where it runs to is mounted to the body just make sure when it's done it isn't twisting the pipe from air cleaner to intake manafold
