Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi guys, first post. have a engine swap query.

i've spent the last couple of hours searching the web and this site for some info on swapping a ford engine pref efi into a mq swb '83 4sp L28.

i was thinking along the lines of around late xf---ea,eb 4.0L or 3.9L.

has anyone ever done this or knows of info to point me in the correct direction. i have heard of the 250 crossflow being fitted so i assume things are fairly similar.

You can get a suitable bellhousing etc from Dellow Auto.

Should be a good swap. I would not go for the 3.9, it had a few health issues that were sorted by the time of the EB.

EF would be even better if you spot one at the right price.

I don't think there's a lot about the vehicle or the engine that would make the swap very complicated and personally I think it would be the swap of choice for an MQ.
