Don't flame me please, I know that this has kind of been covered a few times.
My 1988 Maverick seats are still in one piece but the foam's kind of had it. I am doing a road trip soon and would like to put in some seats that are a bit more modern and comfy. There aren't really any aftermarket seats that grab me much, I am thinking more of some falcon, magna, commo, whatever seats.
I don't mind doing a bit of work to adapt them to fit but was just wondering what others have used and which seats happen to be (a) a relatively easy fit and (b) not too pricey.
Cheers,
Jason

2 seats thta Ive liked in the past were:
Suzuki GTi seat, good wrap around stability.
Nissan Bluebird seats: surprisingly comfortable on long trips and some had adjustable lumber support.
The Bluebird seats might even be an easy bolt up but the GTi seats would need some work.

Get a set of calibra seats they are comfy and they have a race support feel
Its just a prick to attach them to your rails
need some adapter things made up but if you can do that yourself its pretty easy.

Do they wrap around your shoulders a fair bit to make them feel sportier?
I've never been a fan of seats that do that too much; it's what I hate about most of the aftermarket seats (plus the way they look).

I sometimes feel a bit confined and hunched in them even though of course I am very slim
A bigger problem, for the impending road trip, is that my gf gets shoulder pain from them. She really likes the seats in her BA falcon, and I must say I find them pretty good too.
