rear 60 leaf packs

Can anyone tell me if the rear leaf pack (2" lift) in a 60 series is spring loaded...basically do I have to clamp them when removing the centre bolt, or can I just undo them without the clamp?

i thought all spring packs were loaded, if you are undoing the center bolt you definately what to clamp the spring pack.. if its not clamped, when you undo the nut on the center bolt you will see the pack fan out.. so just beware

Thanks Shorty...I will clamp the pack anyways I think. Better to be on the safe side.

no problems. ive taken apart my share of spring packs..
i replaced the center bolts in my front pair last weekend.. i had them clamped with a cheapy 4" clamp from superheap and when i undid the centerbolt a bit it busted teh clamp in half.. and that was only while i was undoing the nut.. mind you the centerbolt was rusted onto the leaves so that made removal rather interesting..
