Need some info, new cruiser purchased

Post by kalcruiser »

Hi All. After finally making the move and buying a solid axel GXL petrol 100 series i have now some questions.

1. What are the best workshop manuals for these Haynes, gregory, Toyota????

2. Who make some tube bar\side steps for these. I have heard cheezy make these but i have checked his site and no info. If anyone has pics that would be great. Might be a good excuse to get a mig
:D
3. Seeing as the vechile has lockers i presume i will not need to run LSD Diff Oil???

4. What kind of figures are others getting from fuel. I have 35's (315) and a 3" lift plus barwork and long range tank so lots more weight.

5. Once center difflock is engaged is the ABS disengaged?

Anymore details needed just ask
Cheers in advance

1. Toyota manuals are the best. Got to dealer and order SC0020E which is the complete 100 series manuals on CD, about $70.

5. The ABS is not disabled when the centre diff lock (CDL) is engaged, only when rear factory locker (if fitted) is locked.
