just personal experience, a mate used a CRS adapter kit to fit a holden 5l int a gq n it was a PITA, wrong clutch, starter, had to get throw out bearing machined, motor sat right inside tunnel, he was advised to have custom drive shafts made n move the motor forward.
Dont know what your fitting or if all there adapters are as bad but the tech back up was not there either, they basicly said you bought it you sought it. It was fitted by a mech and he was ready to bin the CRS kit n buy a marks.
Sorry I have no other info, hope you have better luck.

on the other side of the scale, i bought various engine and gearbox parts from castlemaine rod shop for my 383 kingswood couple years back and found that rod (the dude who owns the shop) was a great help and support. to be honest, havent dealt with them since selling the 'wood but if u r having trouble with their number, go to the newsagents and browse through the latest street machine mag. it should be in there.

cheers mate

I too have dealt with Rod before regarding a 253 in a forerunner. He was extremely helpful and once the setup was done correctly it was a great rig.

Rod sold out a couple of years ago, stayed on to help the new guy settle in and get the hang of it all, he still owns the museum side of things where his 'ellete' cars are stored.

He's been spending heap of time in the states of recent touring around with a couple of the rods he built here.

New guy is continuing on the business as if nothing has changed.
