could be... not a lot of info there..
corolla swap used to be pretty common and lwb is a more comfortable ride all things being equal, plus more space..

if its all legal with the engine in then yes its a good buy at that price, Not sure what you meann by its engineered with a rear seat as they came from the factory with rear seats so not sure why it needs to be engineered for the rear seat. Or do you mean the engine is engineered and it happens to also have a rear seat?

I vote worth it.
Thats less money than a set of crawler gears, fitted, in your vit and will be more capable than your vit with thousands spent on it, mostly because you know you only have $1.5K in it and will drive it properly.
I say go for it. (but weld the rear diff)
PS the "best" version on the K series was the 8k used in the liteace- 1.8 litre, fuel injection and power steer

Hmm, import (JDM) only as far as I am aware. Recall seeing one in a south african market KA70 corolla that was private imported into Aus, but it was carby and no power steer.

I wasn't having a go at you try-me, I was jst pointing out something I have seen heaps of times and experienced myself.
Generally, when people drive their daily driver off road, or a car that have lots of $$$$ in, they are always worried about damaging/breaking it, even only a little bit, (and sometimes without even meaning to.)
Normally, if someone buys a cheaper car specifically for 4WDing, they no longer worry as much about it, and start taking different lines without always having in the back of their head "I don't want to get this wrong"
As a result, their driving improves, they have more fun, and get heaps more out of the car.
As for a 4AGE..... no, this motor won't be a bolt in. Don't worry about it, I have driven Grimbo's old 5K sierra and that had plenty of grunt. Remember it's an off road car not a race car and you'll be fine.
In any case, 1.0 running gear was designed for 36kw. you will have the most fun and the least time in the workshop with the least power going through everything.

7KE is the 1.8 efi version of the k series motor. rare a rockin horse $+i#. All of the K series motors will bolt staraight up. There is also a 4KE, 1.3 fuel injected. have seen two in the last 20 years!
