After months (12+) the tintop finally got around to being RUFed.

It's low and probably only around 1-2inches over standard height. It's not quite right yet, and needs a little tweaking (including the front lines which have nil effective extension whilst sitting unattached on the garage floor), but I'm pretty happy with the front/rear balance and eveness of the car so far.

Bit more time on my hands now, so I have no excuse not to make some faster progress, get the gears into it and the weekend rubber on.

Which method did you use, can't tell from the pics. As you look to have standard shackles, did you move the shackle mount.

It's a half RUF.

Approx 110mm centre to centrepin with about a 45 degree shackle angle. Made up and tried a few sets, and found it as short as I could go without screwing up angles and placing excess strain on the bushes or main leaf (just). However it's enough to allow them to flatten out on compression up to my 50mm extended bumpstop. Dakar heavy duty rears (with a full length second leaf) 3 leaves on the passenger, 4 on the drivers side.

Perches drilled to gain a touch more wheelbase. Wanted to try it first, but I can't imagine I'll go to long without doing the chassis extension and gaining the other benefits for the long term. I'm not entirely satisfied.

Pic was late in the day and only got the one before camera batteries died. More to come.
