Roll Bar

Post by da13ro »

Taken the old zook offroad, and I suppose its come to my head that there is a fair need for a roll bar. (no i havnt rolled it...yet)

So i suppose i have the skills and the tools to make one up myself...but i would never be sure enough that my welds and all of my fab work could hold up when my neck is at risk...

Anyway, i live in Sydney....Northern beaches and wondering what my options are...im not up for a hard core roll bar im not going rock crawling, or offroad every day, it is my daily driver too. So i was thinking a simple loop with rear braces, fairly standard stuff. Does anyone know of any places around here, how much do you think itl cost to get one made up? Would an engineer do this you think? Or a place that makes bull bars? Or is there a posibility i can get one pre-fabbed thatl fit my coily zook!

Thanks in advance for your time!

Mitchell Bros. or Pro4x4 in brooky can do the job for you and are highly recommended.

Alternatively you could DIY, tack it together, bring it to my place (cremorne) and Ill weld it up for you.

Chris (pro4x4) is a really good bloke too. If his quote comes in too pricy offer him cash and see if he drops it down a bit. Very easy dude to get along with.
