100 series rear bars

I need to get a rear bar and wheel carrier onto the cruiser (100 series IFS Turbo diesel), i see that there's 4 main alternatives available.
Does anyone have any input as to which ones may be better than others?
ARB's new fancy bar with round lights
TJM's bar with plastic filler panels
Opposite lock
Kaymar

I have the TJM bar [with the plastic inserts] on a 2001 model and have had no issues with the bar or the wheel carrier on the LHS. The carrier is very solid and does not move or rattle on corrugations. I installed the unit myself after having it painted at a repairers.
There are not many things to watch out for with installation other than ensuring the screws through the mudflaps locate correctly into the plastic insert's metallic thread which is buried in the insert and difficult to locate.
The ARB bar looks good as well but I have noticed that the painted surface on the inside chips very badly due to stone damage. The TJM unit does not seem to suffer to the same extent.

I've got a TJM bar on my 105 series cruiser. It has the spare wheel on the left hand side and is really strong. I'd be looking for another one the same if I were to upgrade my cruiser.
I've had it across the desert and through some fairly serious tracks without any hassles at all.
Tough as nails!

You could get a Slee bar. They are pretty straight forward, nice and simple, no lights though which is a bit of a downer. Very strong and give great approach angles.

Around $2,700 for the bar for the 80 series from memory and I'm sure the 100 would be the same.

Have looked at the Slee bar, ADR's and Sate regs require lights. Not sure if there's quite enough room to make something fit and look right.
For those that have the TJM bar have you painted the plastic bits or left them black?

Could easily put a couple of those strip LED lights on the bar.

I've got an Opposite Lock twin carrier on the back of my 105 Series and it's bomb-proof. I reckon that I wouldn't have any plastic bumper left by now without it. It has hi-lift mounts built in to the sides and no plastic bits, all steel. The catches are simple over centre clips, low-tech but never fail. I have dropped over rocks where the entire weight of the rear of the car falls onto the bar without a problem (except for a small dent in the side of the tailgate, but almost invisible). Hate to think what it would look like without the bar. Had a rear end prang from a hyundai excel, he got 3 grand damage on the front, I drove home with another scratch on the bar. It was cheaper that the Kaymar and TJM bar as well, don't even talk about the ARB one. Father-in-Law has the ARB on a 2005 100 series and hates it. Catches fill up with mud and won't work, rocks fly up from underneath and get through to mark the tailgate, all for $1000 more! I am very happy with the Opposite Lock bar, although the after sales service left a lot to be desired.

Cheers, just went and had a look at it. Unfortunately its for a live axle 100 which has a narrower rear chassis than the IFS.
