Hey Guys,
I'm looking at doing a 3" Bodylift but don't want to cut the floor.
Has anyone welded a 3" extension into their gear stick and transfer case levers.
Whats the best way to do it.
Regards

dont do it.
its nothing but a hassle to manythings need modding, its illegal and will make your cog high as
every one i have ever known to do a 3 inch has regretted it.
ps get friendly with your grinder instead:)

Its a shorty and the winch bar and rear bar I have has already been modified to 65mm lift blocks.
Too much mucking around with getting these re-cut and welded.
Looking at a 3" Body Lift and 3" Spring Lift.

I rebent mine with the oxy in a vice.... get a bucket of water and get ready to quench it quickly. (gear stick)
I have seen gear stick extensions but cant remember where..
for the 4wd\2wd cut the slot longer and be done with it..
It has to be engineered in nsw $$$$
cheers smitty

My advice is don't do it as it is only a matter of time until the cab cracks around the mounts and probably even tears out (particularly radiator support panel) .
