I have ordered a dual case adapter for my lux (along with some other bits and bobs) .. as the lux is my Daily I need to get it back on the road in one weekend..
I have a spare set of driveshafts, so how much do I need to get the rear shortened, and the front lengthened so I can bolt em in (is it worth getting them retubed with a slightly heavier wall to aid durability)

And who in North East vic can do the job (no huge hurry on it).

1 of 2 things you can do with the the rear shaft.

still run the 2 piece shaft and just get the front part shortened,
OR the one I'd do.
Is just get the rear part of the 2 piece LENGTHENED and retubed with stronger tube. Doing it this way gives you a stronger rear shaft and removes the pain in the arse centre bearing.

I thought that option 2 would be the way to go ...
