Hilux Slippery diff q

Hey guys, just a quickie, im changing my diff over to one with less k's and no whine in it this weekend, its already got an lsd but just wondering, is it easy to tighten them up, to make the lsd work better as it dosent work all that flash.. if so how do i do it? Well any help is appreciated guys and take care. Chris

Pop out your centre, pop off the crownwheel, split the hemi apart and install thicker shims for the plate pre-load.

Cheers, ok im only young so i dont have the wise old head on me just yet but have a pretty good understanding and mechanically minded so you recon do it or pull it out and have someone do it? And also does this work alot better than a standard? Cheers guys

I'd say it'd be just as much work if not more than fitting a airlocker if you were to do it wouldn't hurt to have torque wrench locktight and a dial gauge will help even tho i've seen them done after a few beers by hand and is still going strong over 30 000-40 000 K's ago. For the work involed i'd say it's trying to push sh*t up hill

Got 2 of the lsd centres here if you want them 6pack of rum sound fair
