....and got 34 swamper tsl's for cheap
tried it out
fortunately it doesnt fit

after a bit of thinking on how to get rid of the tire rub, i decided to do another SAS on the junk. using nissan patrol mk diffs. the junk os now currently under the knife to get ready for the 2nd swap

Both builds are very impressive in both the fab work & detail as well as the rate of speed you're doing it all in.
The tooling and precision for a 'back yard project' is admirable!
Definatley following both zook and buggy builds for some inspiration...
Wish I could fab/build even half as good as that

ditched my patrol diff swap...used a daa 44 instead (4.875:1)
here are images of the slow progress...
it looks like im going to move the front diff a little bit forward to clear the oilpan and be able to create enough room to lower my rig 4 inches
it will be running on 38" inch swampers...still hoping to hit the trail by early september

Read about this over on Pirate and ZK. Thanks for putting it up here too. One of the nicest full bodied zooks ever IMO. Well done on a great buildup dude and Im hanging to see how the buggy turns out too.

minor update...
finally the junk is standing on all fours
still a long list to accomplish
brakelines
steering
panhard bar
fender trims
hopefully ill have it out by 2008 :(
