Outer Limits 4x4 Board

guys, im looking at building some custom radius arms for the front of my GQ,

what are the prefered material sizes, as im looking to do this at home, i have some hollow bar which is about a 12mm wall, but i dont thin this will be easily bent with my bender, what materials have others used?

Thought of 2" OD, 250thou (6.5mm) wall chromoly? Expensive, yes....strong, sh1t yes......bendable, yep.....needs to be TIG'd though. You would be doing well to bend them.

25mm - 32mm plate, that seems to be what everyone else is using.

40 x 20 Hollow Bar will bend in a 15 T bender....... just.
