It might sound obvious but check all your fuses carefully I had a similar problem and it turned out that I had over looked a blown fuse. Most likely in the panel near your accelarator hope this can help.

Don't just visually check them - use a meter to check them. Some fuses can fracture at one end, where you can't see it. Visually, it looks OK, but the electrons are too dumb to jump the gap.
