Hi all,
My brothers HJ61 is up for a spring replacement and Im after your thoughts and opinons of different spring packs
The old packs are tough dog and we wont be going down that road again..
Its used for touring (being loaded up) and some pretty narlly off road stuff.
Eventually we are looking at putting superiour engineering suspension under it, but at this stage we all just looking for an incress in ride hieght 2-3inches and pretty comfortable ride.
Thanks

just went and had a look, the rear and front both have 7 leaves but the bottom leaf on the rear was a big rigid bugger compared with the front.
As for price i don't know as i bought them on my truck.

I recently put ARB Dakar HD springs on my 60. With OME shocks and steering dampner , greasable shackles, - $2000. Very happy with it. Lifted the front just on 50mm, the back went up 70mm. Haven't used it on real rough stuff yet, but certainly travels well loaded up. Hope that helps.
Cheers.

When I had my HJ60 I put a seriers 2000 suspension under it (greasable shackles, springs shocks etc) It was a great suspension offered good flex, great ride {both loaded and empty} .Fully reccomend the 2000 and it should be in your price range

DanielS,
The ride has been good so far. As I said, haven't really done anything major yet, but going by performance to date, I don't think I'll be disappointed. Best thing was it lifted the 60's saggy butt off the ground. Now, if I could just get something like that for the wife.........
