I saw that one listed on Ebay. "Just needs clear coat" I think it said.
My father was interested in it but after seeing your more detailed pics, I'm glad I steered him off it.
I'm doing the same to an NT LWB myself. Have bobbed my lwb body but not fixed firewall issue yet. Good luck with it. Keep the pics coming. Jas.

Nice mate, looks like abit of work to go still but will be very satisfying for you when it's all done.

Extended shackles are easy to make, just need two peices of flat bar 50mm or so wide by at least 5mm thick. measure your orig shackle length, add what extra you need then cut the length. make sure you clamp the two halves together well to drill your holes so they line up exactly. or put a tac weld on them while you drill then take it off after. put the tac right on the corner so then when you clean it all up (round the corners) the tac will come off anyhow. if your really worried about strenght, you can weld in a cross peice sort of like making a "H".

I used a H when i made mine for an old pajero years ago, but am just using two straight peices for the Zook.

Keep up the work mate it'll be nice when your all done.

He means its really rusty.

Red_Zook is right- to avoid confusion, it's probably best to move the build thread to the members area where it belongs and leave the tech questions on here.

I'll ask a tech question though - how have you resolved the issue of registering the car with the 4K in it?

Steve.
