So who are the right people to go to?

Yes, i can search the yellow pages, unfortunately companies don't make accurate notes regarding their actual level of knowledge on their ads.

Anyone point me in a good direction?

Sorry Seirrajim, i don't know much about melb, i'm in Perth and after getting the usual perth run around and having to chase them up all the time i found these guys in NSW, everything i described to the guy over the phone he knew exactly what i was asking and is going to cost me $600 less than i was quoted in perth, so if you get stuck give the link below a try. I delt with a guy called Michael,

Hope you find someone closer to home but these guys were great to deal with,

Tim

lol MTQ thats funny, they wanted $1300 to rebuild a stock T3 VL turbo, which is what you can buy a brand new garret roller for, AXT only $650 for stock rebuild or $750 for newer bigger front wheel and housing machining etc, Andrew at AXT has done a few for me and so far so good.

Also dropped it off 4:30 thursday had it lunch time friday.
