want to here from people who have had this done as im torn between the 2 systems
ive had quotes of around 4500 for the gas injection
and 2700 for the other type
is the injection worth the extra as i am going to turbo it after i fit the gas but saving $2000 buck helps towards the turbo sooner
anyway wanting any info like feul economy and if any noticable power loss and if you think the extra was worth it thanks

thanks for the response
have spoken to many peolpe over the phone and the ones that sell the gas injection say they meet and exceed the emision for the 4.8 but the other type doesnt but is this enough reason to spend the extra
also when i turbo the engine i will be able to full tune it where with the old system just set the mixture and thats it no real control where as this direct injection has its own computer that is full programable
is the fact that people dislike this system because they no nothing about it and have only heard romours from other people or is there some one out there that can tell me exactly why they dislike it because as far as my reserch has taken me is this is a far better way of doing it
so please dont just pass on miss informed information unless you can back it up with some sort of proof or reason for why this product isnt as good but please let me no if you do have useful info

It's worth noting that there are currently at least 4 different brands of injection systems available in Aus at the moment. I have spoken to Premier Autos in Mt Druitt NSW about fitting one to my 1UZ when I have completed my Hilux conversion and Steve has suggested that they are all OK, but the two most expensive brands are the best in his opinion. One of these is very noisy. The injector noise apparently sounds like a Diesel, whilst the other is quiet. He's quoted $4400 I think it was for the Lux and as he is one of the biggest LPG converters in NSW, I'll believe him before anecdotal evidence from amateurs.
