4Unner suspensions-going DOWN not up!

Afternoon all,
I have a '92 4Runner, and i just wish to pose a few questions. It is lifted
2" with OME stuff. Now with all the driving i do, i realised i do a hell of a
lot more touring than rock hopping. I want to keep it the same height, but
I am looking to make the axles move a little more than it does. It is quite
rough off road, with bugger all movement in the front. I changed the back
shocks for
a 3" lifted set, and this has made it move more than enough. Nigh on
twice standard. Now question one. Can you get adjustable upper arms
that may come from another car, that i can use to swivel the diff back as
standard, and, given they are a little longer, more travel. I have found
them for every other car, but not mine.
Now question two. With the front wound 2", the torsions are really set
where they sit and dont move. I was thinking of winding them back 1",
and adding a BJ spacer. Will this give me more down travel of a standard
car, if i change the shocks to allow full movement? I notice my mates
Hilux ( standard height) has a hell of a lot more down movement than
mine, due to the slack torsions.
If i ever need to change tyres, I will put a body lift in. All i am looking for i
s making it as good a tourer as i can, with more suspension movement.
Thank you all for reading my novel.
