100 series FZJ105R GXL auto CDL mod

Anyone know whether the pin modification that could be done to a manual 80 series xfer case connector will work on a 2002 FZJ105R GXL auto (A442F)?
I want to be able to use low range without the centre diff lock engaged.
I did a couple searches, but can't find anything anywhere that tells me how to do it to an automatic 100 series petrol 6...
Any ideas or links on how to do it?
