Short of doing a custom job - I don't believe there is any chance of
seeing lockers for a Feroza - their just arn't enough of us out there
to make it economical. Also the front and rear centres are different
so that actually means twice the work.
Someone in europe was making a "phantom" locker - which isn't a
locker at all - more a very questionalble LSD mod. Another guy in
Malasia ( I think ) was making noises - but he never responded to
my emails - so wouldnt consider sending $$$.
My "solution" was to use a toyota HiAce/HiLux rear end, ARB airlocker
and 5.285 crownwheel and pinion to match the existing setup. Not
cheap, quick or easy - but it does work. Matches a widetrack but is
too wide for a narrow track - so would cost even more to have it
set to the "correct" width. I widened the front of mine to match the
wide rear axle, but that's another ( long ) story.
You would have more luck searching for one of the very rare factory
LSD's - and that's a very slim chance.
HOWEVER ..... is someone knows of a front locker for a Feroza, Please
Please, Please - prove me wrong.

Welded front diff is your best and cheapest option. It'll surprise you what a difference it makes in the rough.

Have considered a "transARC" locker ( welded ) for the front - but am
concerned about the diff and CV strength.
They also don't turn well and getting in and out to lock/unlock doesn't
turn me on.
With gears and traction I am concerned that the common Suzuki problem
of broken CV's could start - and Roza CV's are harder and more expensive.
Will start a poll to see who has done it and how did it go....

The only way my friend to make a front locker is to take a hilux axle cut it and put it in front with the locker.

Here in Greece there is a mechanic who can make lockers like ARB system (he has made lockers for KIA, SAMURAI, OLD JEEP and many more). The problem is that he needs a second axle to test and brake it and then to make the locker work and put it in the car. The problem is i dont have money to buy a Feroza axle (i have found plenty of them) and is not 100% that the mechanic will find the pattern to make the locker for the Feroza. ALso i dont have money to buy the locker if its done (is cheaper i think abouyt 300 euro than the ARB and more stable).

well cj - i am still on my first Feroza... and don't have the $$ to do it
the quick way. Still I am happy with the results thus far - and think the
next round will also be sucessful.
When I listen to some complain how everything is boring, and hardly
go out on day trips - let alone camp etc, then the Feroza hasn't done
too badly. Its "one of a kind" for better or worse.
Doing it yourself is rewarding if you are into that sort of thing and can
do it - and it probably did more trip k's than anything else in the club last
year......
And just to keep you and Daryl under control......
Q. How many Vitaras does it take to stay mobile ?
A. Don't know yet, - still counting.

Just had a look at it and it's coming along nicely. Sure you won't be driving it on the Snow trip?

Who in Malaysia would make a Locker?
All the jokers hey, all they know is just bin the axle and drop in either a 80Series, LC Bundera or Pajero axles from the wreckers that comes with OEM lockers....
But i did remember some guy in Indonesia that posted some stuff on this forum that custom build lockers.

Your probably more on the money than I am...
all I can remeber is that it was in asia somewhere ( getting old ) and they
never responded to my email requesting details.
And yes it was in the forum somewhere....

Icic maybe that's why.
Coz Indonesians don't normally speak English. After looking through that particular website it's all in Bahasa Indonesia which u can describe it as "Queen's Malay Language"... Way too deep for me to understand too. My comprehension of the language is pidgin at best.
