I'm running EFS springs and enforcer big bore shocks 2''lift in my lwd/nt. They have been in for 12mths and are still as firm now as when i put them in. my son has a drover with 2''lift but my truck stands taller than his same tyres :?: are the EFS a taller stiffer spring then some of the other brands going around :?: anyone know :?:

The Drover is probably sagged...

I got told by an EFS retailer that they don't like selling lifted springs for suzukis, because the cars are too light; meaning you will end up with too stiff a sping, or they'll be soft and sag quickly.

I think this is wrong, though it may be a reflection on the attitude of some people, and possibly a reflection on the EFS springs? I know when I did get a price list he gave options for two different rear springs; one was for 50kg over standard, the other for 80kg over standard. He commented that everyone he has sold the 80kg springs to found them too stiff and rigid.

Despite some negetive comments contained in my post, I did a search on outers a while back, and there were allot of happy EFS customers with Sierras.

Try taking some leaves out, starting with the overload leaf, then the shortest... play with the leaf pack until you are more happy.
If you have the orig springs, you can try mixing these in too.

EFS Enforcer seems to be heavier with less flex & a stiffer ride
EFS Elite flexes of its head and rides awsome, they are the best springs ive ever used, and ive had 8 different sets of sprigs before these, i will not use anything else under a zook

what sort of EFS springs do you have?
Are they heavy duty or what

What sort of springs does your sons have? Are they heavy duty etc?
How old are his springs?
Do they have as many leaves in the spring pack?

Does his car have any extras like a bullbar or something else that yours doesn't?
Are the tyres the same brand and size or just same size but different brand?
Do the tyres measure the same height?
Does he have a body lift or are you body mounts stuffed?

There are a whole lot of variables that can be doing this.

One of the sets of springs isn't 2", or neither are.

OME 2" can be 2" or more like 3.5 in the rear if you have HD springs and a light car.

I am sure EFS are the same.

Measure the distance from the axle to the bumpstop in the front and the chassis to the bumpstop in the rear.

Stock front is around 30-50mm and rear 60-80mm depending on age, setup ec.

Steve.

So they are exactly the same age and spec springs?

They are both the same brand tyre inflated to the same pressure on the exact same brand and size rims?

How old is his vehicle and is it WT or NT?

Are both chassis straight ans are all the spring hangers straight?

What about shackle lengths and angle? All the same?

by just cruizin'
Shackle angle will be the give away as to whether it's the springs or not. If you haven't replaced the springs who know what they are, could be anything.

One's not SPOA is it :finger: :finger:
