Anyone here have/know where i can download a wiring diagram for a vectra so i can work my way through this maze of wires?

All i need to find is somewhere suitable to hook into the highbeam circuit

Thanks

Is it too hard to get at the plug on one of the existing headlamp globes?

ok one question...

WHY DID YOU BUY ONE????

they are reknowned for electrical probs, and theres a point on the engine that needs to be bored out to prevent idle problems...

take it from me who drives one daily, they are more trouble than they are worth. its a right PITA when you sit at the lights and have to brake and accel at the same time to prevent the revs dropping so low that it stalls. and when you get half way around a corner and your not in gear and the revs drop to low and it stalls, the steering is so damn heavy without the power steering that you nearly run off the road!

and the handbrake... pull it on while your driving, just ease it on nice and slow, click by click... you will get nothing for ages, it wont slow down, one click it will be going as normal, next click the handbrake LOCKS ON! thats just what you want when your brakes fail and your left with only the handbrake... theres a reason its called the emergency brake, and its not coz it causes an emergancy when you put it on!! lol

BUT, if you insist on keeping it, then your best bet is to hook it upto the existing lights high beam. and your right, you cant get in there with normal sized hands.

on the plus side, the car looks good, the engine is a good little unit when its running well, and it handles quite well for a front wheel drive vehicle of its size. good luck with it.
