ring up your road traffic authority, i know down here in vic its legal to do 2" susp and 2" body, therefore if you let your insurer know that its been done... wullah all is good

Some insurance companies will insure you for more than a 2 inch lift in Qld but as for getting a mod plate for a suspension lift in Qld "No Chance".

ive got a 2002 gu ute 4500 turbo itercooled.. but its stock atm till i find out wat i can do to it legaly so i can get insurance.

You can legaly go a 2 inch suspension and a 2 inch body lift and 33'inch or equivilant 285's tyres in Qld.

Yep max 50mm suspension lift , as for body lift it will need to be approved by DOT . You need to contact them and get some forms , fill them in and wait for their reply then take the car down to maroochydore to be inspected . make sure you use the right blocks and bolts ...
