Dry cell battery...

Post by Red_Zook »

hey all..
im going to be running a dry cell battery in my zook... for comps and other reasons

just a question
would there be any issue.. in running it on its side ontop of the trans tunnel? where the heater "should" be under the dash ish???

it just sceems like a good logical place to put it, and being dry cell it shouldnt matter...

does any one know if this complyes with tt rools??
i still havent got a book on them yet!!

I take it you mean an Absorbed Glass Mat Lead Acid Battery (AGM) like an Odyssey.

They are fine in any orientation. They prefer not to be too hot for longer life.

If you haven't bought one yet PM me, as I may have a 6mth old one spare.

i yhink when i was looking at odysseys for anoyther purpose they can be run on any side just not upside down

As with all batteries they dont like getting hot, but id say the engine bay would be hotter than anywhere isnide the cabin.
