That a version 1 or a version 2 Maxi?

Version 1 apparently used ford 9" spider/sun gears. Or something. 28 spline axles.
V2 used the fancier high tensile steel in the gears and had 23 (or is it 24?) spline axles.

My rear V1 did something very similiar in Feb 2004 (from a 200tdi!!!).

In went a V2.... Shiny bits on lounge room floor!!!

Holden Salisbury spider gears in the early ones.

I had to replace them a few times in my 90 Hybrid.

35's, heavy right foot, not mych weight and part time caused a lot of single spining on bitumen.
