I believe they are a load of crap. I got one on a jeep i had and it leaked at full lock. I got told by the supplier that i was supposed to adjust my steering stops to suit the new damper which would stop it leaking. What a crock of $hit. The damper should have been made to suit the vehicle it was going on to. That just tells me that they use one generic shock and change each vehicles steering stops to suit the damper.
Jeep wranglers have an awesome turning circle from the factory, but after they adjusted the steering stops i had to do 3 point turns every time i wanted to park in a carpark.
After that i would NEVER recommend these dampers to anyone

Why would you need an steering damper??
Most shock types used vary proportionally to the speed of movement up to the point of the valve capacity and type.
So just buy a good known brand that has been a around for a while.
AND one that is sized dimensionally for your vehicle and application.
No one is going to adj on the move as you just can not ever know what sort of bump etc will react with the wheels.
