I read somewhere that if you fit a DTS Turbo manifold, which has a T3 outlet, with a T3-T25 Adapter, onto a TD42 in a GQ/GU that the Turbo housing hits on the chassis rail.

Can anyone confirm this?

I can get a good (well I think its good) price for a DTS Manifold from MTQ.

cheers

I should have been a bit clearer, if I fit a DTS Manifold with a T3-T25 adapter then fit a GT28RS on there, i've heard that it can touch the chassis.

This is only hearsay ofcourse.

cheers

If you make an adapter that is too long you will have problems with the chassis rail, I've fitted 1/2 a dozen by retapping the manifold. MTQ have a T3 T25-28 adaptet in the pipeline, talk to Wayne Flarety at Adelaide branch.
