My 96 triton twin cab diesel 4x4 has normal operating temperature ( about 1/2 way ) except when going up long hills. The guage rises to about 3/4.
Is this normal or is there an issue somewhere.
thanks

Hi loopy, welcome to the forum.
In my experience, Mitsubishi vehicles typically have excellent cooling systems. Temperature rises typically indicate an underlying problem somewhere.
I think there's been some similar discussions here recently; try our wonderful Search function.

Hi Loopy
My L200 does the same with a reond engine and a recored rad. I was thinking about fitting a pyrometer to the exh to see if it realy is a problem
